Hello all, bit of a puzzle, my drivers and both rear passenger door windows have stopped working as has the door mirrors adjustment. However, my front passenger window button does work. I have checked the fuses and they are fine. Any ideas? |

Every circuit installed for a given car will be worked out on load. Electric window motors will need more currant to operate than lets say the door locking unit. For this reason different size cables are used to supply the needed currant and as the fuse is the weakest link it has to be able to carry enough currant to do the job but be rated low enough to blow should the currant "load" start to increase above the rated currant for the cable.

To be honest mate, I have no idea, but that was the only fuse that seemed relevant.

Excellent...I shall try the fuses first, and if that doesn't help, then I shall pop the battery!!

choccymonster, if you do decide to disconnect the battery you the only things you'll need to do after reconnecting the battery is to reset the clock and reset the electric windows so they one-touch close as detailed in the manual. The only other thing I have found that has changed after reconnecting is that all the trip computer records have reset.
