My passenger door mirror has decided not to fold/unfold. The top of the mirror is loose. The mirror can be adjusted using the drivers door controls. When fold is selected the fold motor does not run. I have tried reseting the door window (another post on here) and have done an overall reset by disconnecting the battery. Still no joy. Is there anything I have missed or should I order a new door mirror ?.

Try manually pushing the mirror housing all the way forward and then back to the normal position. Might reset the folding mechanism, failing that pop it into the Dealer or order a new mirror unit from Dan at Duckworh Parts. He was doing a particularly good deal on passenger side mirrors a while back and might still have them. Quite easy to replace yourself.
