The Moon

I thought I would post this ahead of the pro's rocking up with their Digital SLR's with lenses that are like mini-hubble telescopes Laughing Not a bad pic for a handheld bridge camera. Only tweaking done with iPhoto was a touch of cropping and fiddling with the levels. I don't have any photo shop skills so this really is a run of the mill shot as far as I'm concerned.

Very poor.

Cheers Thumbs Up

I have just gone back into iPhoto and compared the original side by side with this one and to say I am not very up on these adjustments, the difference I made with those adjustments turned a good picture in a far better one with crisp definition instead of verging on hazy and looking a little washed out LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Many of us DSLR users generally shoot in RAW and post process the shot on PC.
The software to process from RAW to JPEG within the best DSLR's is poor at best let alone the small screen at the rear of the camera.
Worth looking into Doc, if you camera is capable of shooting RAW, then post processing your shots on PC with software is without a doubt the way to get the best out of your camera. Thumbs Up Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Just as a quick update, I emailed this photo to the Derby Telegraph and they are going to include it in their space and stargazing special section in tomorrow's paper. Very Happy

I must say, the Stargazing Live with Professor Brian Cox and co has been good viewing this week Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
