Sitting in the car waiting for my wife tonight, engine off, ignition off, radio on and after about 10 minutes I got a warning on the radio screen that said 'low battery'. I immediately started up and left it running but is that a sign that the battery is on its last legs? It is the original battery so it's getting on a bit. Going to Cornwall on Sunday and wondering whether I should run out tomorrow and get one. Has anyone else had this? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

This is an automatic warning that pops up when you have been listening to the radio on battery for about 10 minutes. It has nothing to do with battery level. Most other cars will run the radio for about an hour before shutting down but maybe the LR has a bigger drain so the time is less. |

Had this happen to me Steve after running the radio while washing the car... Think it's just a fail safe....
