Twas The Storm Before Christmas

http://news.sky.com/story/1186057/weather-...s-expected

In all seriousness folks, take care out there. Christmas Eve is set to see persistent Hurricane force winds in Scotland and there will be a very real threat to life so not traveling is best.

Elsewhere the winds and rain will be strong still so watch out and HGV's toppling over are a real concern. Christmas Day may see snow showers over high ground in the early hours and around here at least, there is a good frost forecast so a festive morning is on the cards.

Keep an eye on warnings here (Scotland will go amber or even red before long): http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/uk_forecast_warnings.html LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Looks like it's going to get pretty rough up here over the next couple of days. Oh well, another day of getting blown all over the motorway. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Nah... Send them out into the thick of it - it could cure a problem once and for all AND provide the rest of us with plenty of kindling wood! Laughing
