The green colour of coolant is Florescence and your leak should be very visible if you shine a UV lamp under the engine compartment. |

Just got my freelander back from the garage it was loosing coolant and it was the oil coolant that failed. |

Did you have coolant in the oil or was it an external leak? How much to fix if you don't mind me asking ,so i can prepare for it |

Take your top off your coolant bottle and see if you have a trace of oil in it. If you google oil cooler you will see other people had the same problem. I paid £466.00 but I have read people paying main dealer £2500. My car got a new oil cooler, flushed out coolant system and oil and filter change. Hope this helps. |
