Black steels

Hello, does anyone have pics with black steels fitted. Thinking of sticking a set of winters on with them but not 100% how they look on a fl2. Also any experience with these fitted??

Cheers!

We keep these 17" black steels in stock, they balance well and good quality.

Great for a set of winter or off road tyres. Andy.

At which price?
I have a quotation from Ford and I want to make a comparison.
Thank you!

I'd have thought you could get a second hand set of alloys cheaper than a new set of steels. Presumably they are not the same as the steel spare, which is limited to 50mph?

I think the spare is only limited to 50mph because it's an odd size compared to the other 3 when used. If you have 4 of them fitted, I can't see why normal speed ratings for the particular tyre cannot be used. The steel spare uses a 'normal' tyre, not a skinny space saver. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

I'd be interested to know the price of 4 of those with a decent winter tyre on? Is it worth a forum offer/price?

The steel spare is limited to 50mph because of the wheel bolts, the standard wheel bolts are for alloy wheels hence the 50mph. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

That's what I thought. So do you need a different set of wheel nuts for steel wheels? I still can't quite see the point - usually plenty of spare alloys for sale.
