The orange peel effect is a result of using water based paint, I think it is a result of moving to using High Volume Low Pressure spraying equipment.

I agree land rover paint is very good.. doesn't the brochure say they won a JD power award or something? I hope it ages well. Its a shame they use white as an undercoat as this shows up easily after little scratches chips etc on my black fl2 At work

If and when the milky grey plague gets my black bits, I guess my FL2 be long gone In the meantime BLACK WOW sounds like a good preventative, however it will probably cost £50 here in Norway 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

I re-blacked Mrs Georges corsa with shoe polish in order to trade it in, the mini salesman was so dazzled by it he didn't realise the cam shaft was knackered in a big way! The engine sounded like a bag of spanners! At work

I also understand that peanut butter is used by dealers on black bumper plastics, no not a joke, it is because it has natural oils. Mind you crunchy type don't work Freelander 2 - SE Sumatra Black - TD4 -4X4 Jack Russel in boot. |
