United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Biscay Blue

Just fitted the powerful version with the new plastic brackets, one single allen key grub type screw.

I also had trouble with the screws, the head was slightly too large to fit into the bracket, i had to drill the bracket out to take the screw head. I didn't want to force the screw just in case the bracket split.

Mine came with no instructions(easy to fit i know) but had to cut a tab from each 3m double sided tape to fit.

The ABS spoiler itself is a pretty good molding, the guy who sprayed mine did say the it was reasonably well primed.

Will try and post pictures, when the kids show me how Thumbs Up

Glad I'm not the only one who had issues with these brackets! Does make me worry a little how reliable and strong they are compared to the older metal ones with two bolts

I did email powerful for a copy of fitting instructions, they just told me to look at their you tube fitting guide.

Ok few pictures of the spoiler and bracket, sorry for the poor quality picture of the bracket.

Fitted ours back in late April early May, came with plastic brackets which fitted fine and felt quite secure, always best to check for tightness after a week or so though in my opinion.

The spoiler was already primed but I still added my own to make sure

Then sprayed it black as it suits my FL2 better than colour coded
