Interference on Radio

Recently took car in for its first service, and reported interference on radio, FM channel. It can get the stations, but it occasionally looses reception and 'hisses' (latest Meridian system).
I got a curtesy car, another Freelander, and deliberately took it around the spots where mine suffers reception problems.
Perfect reception! I phoned the dealership and explained the circumstances, they appreciated the info.
On picking up the car, the dealership said that the radio had not been tuned in, and indeed the DAB had been tuned into a continental channels. They had re-tuned the system and all appears ok.
But the problem persists.
Just wonder if anybody else has suffered from this?
Taking car back in to let them have another go. One Discovery, gone
Now on third Freelander 2

Not heard of this before and it hasn't been noticeable on the 3 x 2013MY Freelanders we've had at work.

Might be worth taking one of the Dealer techs along to where you suffer reception problems to see if that helps isolate the fault. Might be localised interference, a faulty head unit or simply a loose connection somewhere.
