The rubber mats in my FL2 have a nasty habit of moving around when there are passengers in the car with their feet all over them! The drivers one is ok because it has that little fixing to stop it moving. Short of not carrying any passengers, has anyone found a simple solution to this rather irritating problem? I've thought of trying velcro but wanted to seek help here first!

Any (printable) suggestions welcome! 2010 HSE TD4 auto, Biscay Blue, Almond Leather, facelift front and rear, detachable towbar, front & rear mudflaps, bib spoilers, clear high level brake light, smooth rear wiper, colour coded door handles.

I have the LR rubber mats and besides being a tight fit the underneath edges bite nicely into the carpet keeping them solid, are yours LR ones?

The only thing I can suggest is to get your dealer to supply the 'retainers' that the drivers side has and fit to the rear, it's only a small 6mm hole in the carpet and the two pieces press together.

Thanks for that. Had them for two years now. If you live I a country like I do this is a must. Keeps the water from melting snow in the mat.

Brought a set from B & Q of all places a few weeks ago; the rear surfaces are completely covered in small rubber spikes - on top of the carpet they do not budge at all. Although it does leave indentations in the carpet, a quick hoover soon has the pile back to normal.

They had loads of grooves molded in them, these serve good purpose to retain any water from shoes and allow you to trim them to fit perfectly around the contours of the footwells. Halfords do a set by Michelin. Not a perfect fit but do not move.
