Welcome to the auto club Matty - you'll never regret it. Right foot for go, left foot for stop - seemples

The "creep" is perfectly normal - and very useful if you pause on a hill! If you're a caravanner you'll find that "creep" speed is great for manoeuvring, especially in reverse.

I will second Right for Go and Left for Stop but if you have never done it before be very careful until it becomes second nature or you will find that if you need to do an emergency stop, it will be very quick as you put both feet on the brake pedal.
I have had autos for 30+ years and it is automatic (excuse the pun) for me to brake as above.
You will love the auto especially if you are a commuter as it is so much more relaxing in traffic queues.

WRONG ! right foot to go & right foot to stop !

Using both feet can cause a hesitation pulling away! as the brake light circuit cuts the throttle via the ECU and it also flags a fault

Also using both feet in an Auto can be DANGEROUS due to the fact that in an emergency there is also the RISK that you could press both pedals with both feet !
I did have an old gent do that to me some years ago comming up to a junction and he came straight out , T boned by me & continued through a garden wall into a house ! & the cause was using both feet in his Auto by his own admission

Disagree, never had a problem with 2 FL2 autos pulling away and as stated above have been doing it on autos of all types for many years.
Initially used it on rally cars with Right foot hard on the throttle and Left foot on the brake to kick the rear end of the car out on a bend.

I only ever use left foot braking on the track, although when I drive my manual van I still heel and toe out of habit. Cant see the point of left foot braking on the road, I never push a car to the limits, especially an auto 4x4

After 30+ years I would probably crash if I reverted to "conventional?" braking as it is now as instinctive as right foot was before.

As I said, I think the only times you are likely to get left foot braking wrong is very early in your conversion to auto driving or if you are constantly swapping between auto and manual. Once it's a habit then there's no problem. It's far smoother when you're used to doing it. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

Never had problem changing from auto to manual when in business or using rally car. You instinctively change to the car you are driving.

Having said all that it is down to personal preference. Try it and if it suits you use it, if not stick with the right foot for both.

Lets leave it at that shall we.
