I am going to install the DVD system on Saturday. Now I understand that both aux power sockets on the centre console are switched live (2013MY), so I can wire in behind these for the switched live.

Do you want one from inside the car ? or from the engine bay ?

You should be able to get a permanent live from the stereo wiring as there has to be a perm to keep the stereos memory

Not to sure on the 2013 layout, but did I not hear on here the rear cigarette lighter is permanent live  BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

On the 2013, the aux power sockets are switched lives.
