I do not believe the clutch is adjustable, being hydraulically actuated. I guess, at 6 years, the brake (& clutch) fluid was changed (& bled). May be a clue there? NB: My clutch is still good at 101k |

Thanks for your input, Alex. Yes, the adjustment you describe can be done - on set up. The OP was asking about "in service" type of adjustment - as we used to do on cable or even linkage operated systems. There is no "in service" adjuster as I was referring to.
