I know I have lost a few toys over the HSE, but I have also gained a few things as well!!

Not seen the car yet, so we are going to the dealer on Saturday to have a demo and inspect the car before signing the papers.

Got to have our plate transferred over so it will be a few weeks before we get her home.

So what have got planned for this one?

Well, I love a new blank Canvas to start on. So the list has started. When she is home, I'll be doing the following :-

Evoque 20" Wheels
Si4 Twin Exit Exhaust
Side Steps
Door bump strip mouldings
DVD System from the current car
Towbar

With all the best laid plans etc! The Dynamic we looked at was a real mess of bad paintwork! Mask lines and all sorts of crap. So we rejected it!

But they had quite a few other cars in stock and we did make a purchase!

9800 miles! So we ended up with more spec than we have with our current car!

Ended up spending £4k more than planned but we figured what the hell!

OK, a change of plan as the Dynamic was a total mess from a paintwork point of view! Half the car had been re-sprayed.....badly!!

So we bit the bullet and bought this:-

A 2013MY HSE Lux SD4 Auto
Barolo Black (Apparently an £1100 option!)
Privacy Glass

Plus all the usual kit for a Lux!!

Well that's a nice surprise! When are you picking the new car up?

Looks good Mav....Windsor Ivory can only go with Black, and no other colour in my opinion. Get them to sort that drivers armrest out before you pick it up....looks like it needs a heat gun gently over it to tighten the Vinyl back up.

Other than that, a good result. You will probably find that the engine appears to be a lot quieter than its predecessor once you've driven it away as well. Foraging near Gaydon....
