United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black
Returning to the fold...

First bought a Freelander 2 in 09 - an 07 plate Baltic Blue XS manual. Loved it until it started to go wonky - leaked oil from everywhere it could leak oil, developed a fault with the ABS (still unresolved when I traded it in) and had issues with the gear lever getting stuck half in and half out of reverse.

Traded it in Jan 11 for a 58 plate SE auto. Loved it just as much as the previous one. Apart from the fuel economy. It was robbing me blind.

Sadly after 6 months I had to give in and get rid of it. Had a dalliance with a Mini Cooper S, and more recently a Nissan X-Trail.

But yesterday I once again became the owner of a Freelander 2 - a 13 GS manual, Santorini Black. 18 inch wheels, armrest pack, lighting pack, design pack, heated screen...

I love it!!! Very Happy

Just need to figure out how to work the DAB radio gubbins - the manual seems to only have info for a touch screen system, so is as much use as a chocolate saucepan.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Baltic Blue

Welcome back, from a member from a neighbouring Town. I'm sure someone will be able to put you straight on the DAB issue, as I wasn't aware that the MY2013 came with it without a touch screen?!! Foraging near Gaydon....
