£20 vs probable injury

http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4...60K%7B%7BQ

Mild temps for the foreseeable but when the frosts begin, folks will start slipping over on ice, injuring themselves. You can buy cheaper stuff than those posted about above but I bought those and they have been superb over the last 2 winters. I even ran on ice and could not fall over.

Many will scoff at the idea of £20 on shoe chains but the amount of humble pie they will have to eat will be biblical when they fall over and make themselves look stupid and possibly injure themselves. Worth every penny.

flylr Rolling with laughter

I've been singing the praises of shoe chains since back in the FL2 days. Plus only thick deep snow or stuck cars should stop me now that I have the top rated winter tyres ready for action Mr. Green LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
