I second Auto Glym, the paint is much softer these days, and this stuff is as agressive as I would go without calling in a pro. It will still take a bit of elbow grease Wink but if you are going to have to pay £200 excess you might as well have a go, if it goes wrong and you cut through the clear into the paint then get a pro to sort it under insurance.

PS at that price you might as well get it done outside insurance.

AG do a scratch remover this is very abrasive Exclamation

I was advised not to use it, thought i do have some for a kit i bought a while ago, when its on your fingers it does feel very course Neutral Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

My painter friend I have know for year says there is just no need for aggressive rubbing compounds since water based paints started being used.
