Stainless steel exhaust

On a brand new car how do I stand warranty wise if I was to upgrade to a stainless steel cat back exhaust system?

Not sure about the warranty. Why the need to change though? - my '08 is still on its original system at over 100,000 miles! Your ref to "cat back" not understood though! Rolling Eyes 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

"Cat back" from the catalytic converter back only so not replacing the whole system

Should have no affect on the warranty, but all FL2 exhausts are manufactured with stainless steel albeit of a lower grade than 304/316, that's why they last so long but do lose their appearance.

If I were to change mine it would be for the twin exhaust petrol version FL2 which I understand is quite straight forward.
