Don't discount the Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 and 12-24mm F4........I have the 12-24 and use it on an old D300, it's a great lens, bullet proof build quality, great optically too.

All the lens's mentioned are good, I have used the Sigma 10-20 and found it very competent for interiors even at 10mm. The lens is "sharp" and can take a good amount of abuse! Any aperture greater than f4 should have pretty much everything in focus if you select a slightly closer focus point than the furthest point. |

Nick, Are you aware that you can download from Nikon distortion control? This can then be stored as a firmware update in your camera. For Nikon lens only. Even includes my ancient lenses ![]() This will ensure straight lines on your property shots without the need for post shot fiddling in Photoshop. If you use a tripod to take property shots, have a look if your camera has either 'mirror lockup' or 'exposure delay' for a crisper shot ![]() |
