For a stock telecom 300 lens, that's pretty impressive, you have a good one there.

there's a caravan site in Stonhaven opposite side of the bay from photo if you want to visit i think its a caravan club site, the castle is Dunnottar Castle http://www.dunnottarcastle.co.uk/ the photo i took is approx 2 miles from it round the cliffs,

If the lens is the 70-300 VR, it is a cracking piece of glass and is good enough to use on top range full frame Nikon body's. If you are using the lens on the D3200 the focal length is equivalent to approx. 125-450mm |

It still only has the reach of a 300 though, it is the field of view that is equivalent to 450, the actual size of the object remains the same, just in a smaller frame. Agree though that it is a great lens looking at those pics. |
