It is straightforward to fit, a little patience is all it takes.
1. Offer the spoiler up to the rear hatch and get a feel for how it fits and feels, at this stage don't peel off the adhesive pad backing, once it sticks, it's stuck.
2. Apply masking tape along the hatch left and right just below where the sticky pads will fit and also on the underside of the spoiler, you can then mark centre lines on these parts along with lines to guide you to the correct height, it will be obvious when you hold the spoiler in place. If you are unsure fasten the spoiler in place with the two brackets and make your marks and position the tape where you need it.
3. Clean the rear hatch with some solvent to remove and grease, wax etc, this will ensure a good bond for the adhesive.
4. Remove the sticky pad backing tapes
5. Deep breath
6. Offer up the spolier, I did this lower edge first, check level and central alignment and 'roll' the spoiler gently into place, don't apply much pressure, at this stage if it's wrong it will come off with a good tug, if it's correct, press it firmly into place.
7. Fasten the side brackets into place
8. Brew up, job done.

Awesome write up there! One slight addition for us OCD'ists, you 'may' want to invest in some stainless socket screws and washers, just prevents the supplied ones (certainly from Powerful) rusting over time.

Mine still look as good as the day I put the stainless ones in.

If you are struggling I may still have some, but you will need to trim them down a little. 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

Not quite square but you should be able to gauge where it goes, the spoiler is shaped a little on the sticky pad area, its fairly straightforward, use the screw on clips before you 'stick it on' and make some marks on masking tape to help line it up.
