REAR PARKING SENSOR PROBLEM

Hi,

Owned the FL2 a few years now and I note that if the rear parking sensors are wet, they often will emit their warning sound erratically until they dry-out.
Today, after a service and wash, the FL2 rear parking sensors are constantly emitting their sound anytime that Reverse is engaged on the autobox. The front sensors seem to be working normally, but I have never heard the rears stay on as long as they have, without anything near them. Have to press the button on the dash to deactivate the sensors. Anyone else got/had this problem?

Thanks

Just about everyone, its a know fault that LR have done nothing about Evil or Very Mad

Some say a smear of silicone around the sensor keeps theirs working Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Don't think the problem is just limited to LR, is sems like there is only one company supplying all the manufacturers, could the sensors have been blasted with a pressure washer, let them dry out and when dry as NP has posted a smear of silicon. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Can you get silver silicon? There are people out there who will want to bling them up and keep their chrome A**es complete. Laughing
