A big thanks to everyone for the replies and pics. Now know the way forward. It seems it will be cheaper than buying the factory fit one. MY 2013 TD4 XS Manual, Ipanema Sand. Cold Climate Pack, Spare Wheel, Side Mouldings, Armrest Pack, Rear Camera, Detachable Tow Bar, Spoiler.

If the car hasn't been built how hard is it to include a spoiler? After all we are talking pounds compare to 20k + for a new Freelander? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker. Gone MY2010 Freelander 2 Manual TD4.e S, Alaska White. |

Looking at the logistics operation at Halewood, pretty costly I would imagine, it seems a trivial matter but everything is delivered to the production line as and when needed, there isn't a pile of spoilers just ready to pick from, it is all mapped out beforehand and changing items will have a knock on effect somewhere, there is a cutoff date for a reason.

May I recommend that you search the forum on the rear spoiler. There is more detail advisory notes on dry fitting to establish the exact location and using masking tape with pen marks for precise location when you finally use the adhesive. I fitted a genuine LR second hand spoiler £60? and paid £30 to a bodyshop for paint. A KEY pointer from me is to check the gap where the 3m adhesive goes; I needed 2 layers of 3M!

Spoiler from powerfuluk (£88 ) arrived last night and took it to a small local body shop today for painting. Will be ready on Tuesday cost £50 including painting the clamps and screws so well pleased. That's £138 total, well below factory fit cost. MY 2013 TD4 XS Manual, Ipanema Sand. Cold Climate Pack, Spare Wheel, Side Mouldings, Armrest Pack, Rear Camera, Detachable Tow Bar, Spoiler.
