It only happened to me once on my MY2012. I just exerted a little force via a tug, and it came out ok. Foraging near Gaydon....

Mine did something similar yester day. Popped in the fob, clutch in hit start and car wouldn't start, I heard some quiet noise behind dash. Thought clutch wasn't far in so hit start again, nothing but for a faint "whoosh" noise behind dash. Tried to eject fob and it wouldn't eject. Hit start again and nothing. Then tried fob again and it popped out no problem. I put the fob back in and car started no problem. Strange stuff, hope it isn't a sign? Applying a little force only causes the key blade to come out!

I can partly eject it a few mm but it will not come out any further! Currently leaving it partly ejected but taking the key blade with me!!

Help!!!! Black FL2
