Had both and no real difference that I noticed. I found the Pirellis are slightly better in the wet but not very good on those icy mornings. To be fair they were down to about 3mm and I was sliding everywhere until I put Wintrac 4's on.

I have a set of 19" Continentals for everything more than seriously frosty weather. If you intend to use your FL2 in snow, ice or heavy frost, I would advise that you invest some money in either a set of winter tyres or something better suited to driving on loose surfaces.

I totally agree about the poor cornering ability of the 19" continentals, feels very "squishy" when cornering ! Hopefully the 18" Pirelli will be an improvement Black FL2
