United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black
Footwell lamps

Is it possible to retro-fit footwell lamps? and if so, would it be worth it, cost wise? My car will not have them, but XS that I tested did have them, and they were handy. Was GS TD4 Auto, Privacy, Santorini with Tundra & Alpaca, Cold Climate Pack. Traded for Discovery Sport HSE Auto.

look in the passanger footwell, find the airduct that is central pointing down, on the top of this there maybe a bayonet holder type hole that would hold the light so it shines down out of this duct. if the hole is cut it will be easy to fit a bulb you may even find a wire loose in there for the bulb. If not fixing the bulb will still be easy enough, finding power a bit more tricky

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

I found a bulb holder with one wire going into it hanging down up behind the dash. The challenge is finding the power feed that comes on when you want it.

If/When you do please let me know!!
