Changing Front Grill

Does anyone know how to remove the front grill so it can be replaced?

It's part of the front bumper and hot melted, but it can be cut out and the new melted in after removing the complete bumper and grill. There are a few threads on it if you search, but here's one.

Well in that case it's a matter of cutting your old grill out and sticking the new HST grill in place..
No need to remove the bumper, just cut and replace..... Have a look at the link above by shamus5178 Thumbs Up BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

Thanks for all the info and threads but I'm not too sure I fully understand it. I get the bit when you remove the existing grill by cutting the 8 bars top and bottom and the 4 each side and that leaves the original surround. How then does the new HST grill fit in? Sorry to be a bit of a numpty!

Hello monty,

It's held on by 3M double sided tape, pre-warmed with heat gun. I've had mine on for over 12 months, and no movement / issues at all. If you want some pics of fitted now, just post up.

Thanks for the advice on how to fix the grill. However, still not sure what to do after cutting out part of the existing grill and leaving in the surround. How do I get the surround out in order to fit the new grill in? Once again, thanks for all your help.

You leave the surround in place and the new HST grill is stuck to it and once in place it covers the old surround BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

As Slaneydore says, it leave a void and is double side taped to the three sides of the void, left, right and bottom.
