I had a definite bearing noise at the rear, started at about 30mph worse by 50mph and got really bad by 70mph.......checked all the bearings, diff, wheel etc, changed the 3/4 worn Wranglers for a set of Michelin and it’s a completely different car, silent now |

It could be tyres or diff, try & find a garage that have a set of chassis ears, they will pinpoint any bearing noise instantly. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal. 171037Km as of 09/05/22 Superchips Bluefin Flash Nanocom Evo II (also sold) |
