I don't think there is anything they can do

From memory the wheel is just off centre on mine (though I have not measured it) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Sounds like tracking is out, a bumped kerb perhaps. An alignment check might be useful as excessive tyre wear may be another issue.

I dont think that you understand, Its only the steering wheel that is not fitted on straight. there is nothing wrong with the tracking, the car is quite new

Well, if it ain't fitted on straight then I would take it back to the dealer ASAP and get it fixed.

Mines turned a bit to the right but I can't be arsed to get it fixed, I'll wait until its first service. ______________________

I thought you was meaning the steering wheel is offset to one side, (not directly infront of your seat)

If the wheel is not straight when the car is driving in a straight line then then the track rods need adjustment to canter the steering.

I had another car that came back from a service with this problem. Off center stearing wheel when driving in a straight line.

30 mins in kwikfit put it right they just held the steering wheel straight and altered the tracking to match.

Im sure its a lot easier than trying to re-fit the steering wheel.
