Took the ferry over from Zeebrugge to Hull in the new FL2 - drove around north yorks and woke on saturday morning to find everything covered in snow..... yippee time to try out the FL2 capabilities but sadly it was all melted by 11am headed north to Hawick and watched the fireworks at the Reivers festival , vistited friends and on Monday started to head south via the Kieldar forest. In case any of you don't know there is a lovely drive through the forest - 12 miles or so of great gravel roads - all legal and great fun. Got there at around 11am and found it was " closed due to bad weather " - me not happy - I had to take off my sunglasses to read the sign again . it was lovely weather so I was well miffed and not being allowed to play. Headed off to near Newcastle for lunch and caught the Hull ferry back to Zeebrugge to head home.
