I've upset 'er indoors'

A few months ago while cleaning out the garage I took to the skip what I thought was a parcel shelf from an old car that had been swapped in years ago, unfortunately I found out today that it belonged to my wife's 2010 Kia Rio. Embarassed

She's going away for a few days and asked me if I'd seen it as she wanted to cover up her items in the back, well I had to admit my mistake which didn't go down too well and then I made it worse by offering to cut some cardboard to fit. Idea Not sure if it was the mocking of her long gone shelf or the colour of the cardboard didn't match the rest of the trim Laughing

Anyway it's just a pressed bit of cardboardy material but Kia parts want £158 for a new one Shocked I'm frantically searching online breakers yards for a second hand one. Big Cry

She hasn't phoned me so probably not forgiven yet Very Happy I can't find one and I've looked in 'Poundland', 'ToysRus' and IKEA but probably they're a bit too upmarket Laughing
Truth is she loves her little car, totally reliable in the 3 1/2 years she's had it, I just wish she wouldn't leave bits of it in the garage.
