Arm Rests

Hi

Does anyone know if all models come with front rests, if not, which models do?

Thanks

Rich

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Stornoway Grey

My first post on this forum!

My dealer has a black SE in the prep. bay that I looked at today. There are no arm rests. I guess that they are reserved for the HSE.

There are no Xenon headlamps either on the SE or the HSE. (There is a manual headlamp levelling switch on the rhs of the driver in the SE cabin).

However, the scuba trim looks very classy. The finish is good (in my opinion). Miles better than the FL 1's that I have had in the past and significantly better than the X trail that i have at the moment.

I am just waiting to make a test drive (to make sure that it is quiet and that nothing rattles) before I sign on the dotted line for an SE in Stornoway with scuba trim.

Regards the headlamps; I test drove an HSE which had Xenons but still retained the level adjustment control (although it does not function on Xenons) so the presence of the adjuster doesn't indicate which lights are fitted.

Also what colour dashboard did it have with the Scuba trim?

The dash is black. In fact, below waist level it is predominantly black with a creamy white upper half. The dark blue fabric goes well with the leather. The trims in the door are of the same material as the seats.

Hi qZX372
I ordered my car Saturday same as you are interested in, Stornaway Grey with Scuba interier (SE), agree a good choice, looks good with the blue running through the seats. The dash is black
As a matter of interest the tan interier has a blue dash and it looks awful!
There appears to be more black cars available than any others but at my garage the number one ordered is the Stornaway Grey with Scuba interier

Hi David

Can you shed any light (!) on the spec for headlights on the SE. According to the downloadable price list both the SE and HSE have the winter pack which includes xenon.

The price list from the dealer omits this. My dealer is non committal at the moment, although avtur has seen them on an HSE.

It's not going to be a deal breaker but it would be nice to have a definitive spec.

Hi qzx
Not sure on lights, try this dealer (knowlegable) Hunters Derby tele 01332 545000 if you want to be sure. When you see and test whatever the lights I dont think it will be a deal breaker

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

The car I drove was a pre pro HSE, it had xenons, but not adaptives. The guy said the adaptives were standard on HSE. I have them on the D3 and the are great fun, the kids love the dance they do!!.

does anyone know if the leather pack (seats, mats and wheel) also includes front arm rests ?

I've scoured the brochure but no info is provided.

Thanks

Hi.
In Portugal, in HSE, the seats are in leather with armrests on front seats.

Yes, SE with leather pack has armrests - I have just ordered one as well!

The official wording is:

074HP Leather Pack
Leather seats with front armrest, pvc door inserts and leather steering wheel.
Memory pack for leather seats (Europe)
Footwell carpet mats

Thanks Wombat

Where did you find the official wording ? I've searched through all of the brochures I have and can't find any reference.

Also - if you've just ordered, what delivery date have you been given ? I ordered at the beginning of Jan and I'm being told late April/early May!

Cheers

BG
