Body repairs

Hi,

Do you have the information about standard LR paint thickness on new elements? My Free was repaired by french dealer Dufour Motors and they should change the door. Now I think it will be 3rd time painted due to dust, bubbles etc.

You have to take into account the panel will have been sprayed by hand not machine so the paint will be thicker

The rear c pillar on mine was 93um, the bonnet in the area of the LR badge was 117um, the front wing just below the Bonnet was 346um

All to my knowledge have never been resprayed Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
