One day I'll have all the faults fixed ( then I'll be board no doubt ). Its defo going in soon for the oil / AC leak but todays fault is that when the clutch is in or the car is in neutral there is an awful racket.

Saw my mech who heard it and we both agreed it was coming from the pullys some where and he suggested it could be a tension issue / duff pully. It seems Mundanos have the same prob.

Any one come across this ?

Could be the air con pully bearing, when they go they make a rightracket, sounds like the thing is about to come off

May not be the same but I had the tension adjuster go on the auxiliary belt. However that made a sort of screaming noise. And not covered under LR extended warranty.

Yep - I'm betting tension adjuster as well as its not the compressor.

Still waiting for my pin for my card so no car at the mo.... been in the missus' Astra tonight - just like a go cart

TBH I've got a few jobs to be done so it may as well go for a day or two as its a good car other wise.... and it has to be said still turns heads even though its not a 13 reg

I'm afraid that you will never get all the faults fixed! Whenever one is dealt with another seems to appear. I gave up after 3 years and moved to what seems to be a more relaible brand. Sorry!

I can but try.... I have a good mech who I trust and tbh I've gone over it with a fine tooth comb so far...
