Has anyone managed to get their iPhone 5 turn-by-turn satnav (the apple Maps one) to work properly via BT?

I cannot get the voice instructions to stream so that you can hear the turn by turn over the car speakers. The voice commands from the handset stop, as you would expect (when you pair the handset to the car) but the commands don't get streamed. Music is fine.

On one of the Apple forums it talks about different frequencies for music/commands etc, but not sure about that.

Any ideas? Has anyone else seen this?

Mine work but only when I'm streaming music at the same time. Google maps then mutes the music and talks over the top. 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

It looks like you're using the Google maps app though, not the (default) apple maps. Is that correct?

I too can get Google maps to work correctly, but not the Apple one. It's a shame because the graphic and detail of the Apple app is much better, I just can't get it to stream.

To stream from an iPhone5 you need to buy a 2013 MY

Apple maps is no match for google (did you not read all about it in the press!?).
That said, its your choice

I probably agree the google maps are more up to date but the turn by turn instructions/graphic on apple maps is much better. It's exactly like the tom tom I want to manage without!

Having said all that if I can't get it to stream it's close to useless, and I'll have to go back to Google maps.
