What are the most typical problems?

My 56 plate Freelander 2 is going to an independent LR specialist in a couple of days.
It would be helpful to know what are the most typical problems - we could look out for them.

I've had the car since March and this forum has been very helpful.
It's made me aware of the power-steering system contamination (resolved).
Also, got some good information on the tailgate switch (fixed).

Maybe experienced forum users could say what problems keep cropping up?
Or, might be typical for my age or model of Freelander 2?

56 plate.
HSE.
Auto.
3.2 petrol.

Thanks. The quick brown fox

use your handbrake quite regularly , even pulling it on a little whilst slowly moving, especially in wet weather, you need to keep it used otherwise the shoes will suffer from damp and corrode/delaminate, adjusters can seize also At work
