Parts and Accesories

Just got my first Landrover (after driving nissan xtrails for the last 6 years), is a FL2 GS and I am loving it! Already got an engine management problem and the CD player does not work, it was the ex demo modal !!! But hey its a landy and thats what its all about - right?

Anyway - I will be looking for some extra bits like roof rails etc.. You seem to be pretty much tied down to buying these from a dealer as I cant find anywhere on the net to buy them. Is this the case or do you know of places to buy official parts but not at dealer prices

I have bought all the little bits from eBay or my dealer

Nick at Yeovil Land Rover will help with any parts your not finding and he should be able to provide some sort of discount all been well.

Definately some roof rails but not sure what else yet.

Just want to get the niggles sorted with the car and then will see what I can afford to do to it!

My main query was that you cant seem to buy anything from anywhere but a landrover dealer.

There is still a limited market for aftermarket parts on the FL2 at the moment, and probably another year or so before more items start to pop up.

Thule offers roof bars, which I would guess are cheaper than LR, but wouldn't have a clue if they have the same functionality or not.
