Wales 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Orkney Grey
foot well lights.

having chance to look close at my new fl2 my11 gs manual, and noticed the bulb holders for the footwell lamps are there Shocked like my gs my 10 59 reg one,but they were listed as extras over the s spec, inc under door puddle lights to,but these are not listed as extras or even mentioned in spec on my new gs,yes got 2 led cool white poped them in and they worked Thumbs Up Thumbs Up just for the cost of two bulbs why dont lr do this. Question i noticed there is a plastic blank under door ones,so may remove and see if loom/bulb holder is there and try to get light covers. Thumbs Up Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. Almond Leather ,rear spoiler, rear mudflaps.my13.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Zermatt Silver

Lucky ! I have the 56 plate gs and it has only one wire to the passenger side bulb holder ! Insane ! So anyway, I assumed this is the power feed and install an earth wire to the empty terminal, but this happens- when the interior lights are on, the light goes off- when the interior lights go out, it comes on dimly! Any clues anyone?

Sorted! I have the one wire going to the footwell light. I have run another wire from the passenger fuse box (fuse 17, interior lights circuit) and connected this to the other terminal of the bulb, and it's working fine. It's a bit messy as I have just trapped the wire under the fuse, but a piggyback fuse will tidy that up. Now I will just run two wires in parallel from the bulb holder to the drivers side footwell and install another bulb holder, as I only have the mounting fitted on the drivers side . Easy fix, but a silly problem in the first place! Zermatt '57 Silver Freelander 2 GS -

Has anybody tried fitting 501 Can-bus Super Bright 360 Degree 5 LED bulbs into the footwell lights (or indeed any other fitting on the FL2 that takes this light eg interior lamp, number plate etc). I received a pair of the above in the post today as a substitute for the normal w5w bulb and am a tad anxious about fitting them.

Looks like there's two threads going simultaneously on this one! Anyway the answer appears to be here
