I have 'Notify on new Private Message' & 'Pop up window on new Private Message' enabled but neither seem to work for me.

I'm not sure if its because I use my tablet a lot or not but as a result I keep missing PMs....

Any thoughts ?

The PM system of notification doesn't seem to work so well with an iPad either, I have to remember to check but I get the email notification. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

So far I have established its sending emails for posts

I assume it's the same system for PMs

All 'forum' mails get deleted automatically as I have that many....

Interestingly I just got a pop up when I refreshed but not again.... so I'm thinking as I browse using my tablet and phone the pop up tries once then but never again - ie when I'm on a PC.

I think even if the text 'Private Messages' went from White to Red if you have an un-read PM that would solve the problem for me and I suspect others using mobile devices especially as the forum cant use Tapatalk.

I've never had a pop up on here with an iPad, yes on the PC, I have to actually open up the Private Messages folder to see any, hence I rely on the email notification. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

You need to select pop ups in your preferences under profile, I never use it but they need to be selected.

Have you pop up switched off? It's actually opens another screen not a small box like a PC Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
