So, yes, the lost key can be disabled. Re obtaining a new one, you will need both the key itself and programming to pair key with car. Keys are expensive from LR dealers. They can be obtained via eBay, but you need to be careful - once it's been programmed to a car the key cannot be re-programmed, so you need a new key which has never been used. Then it will need programmed to the car, and if you want the emergency key blade you'll have to get that cut too. I included the last bit of the quote above because it's interesting and not generally known! |

Make sure you have a new keys and the dealer clears the old key code.

Have you definately lost your key or is it possible its been nicked ? And they are waiting to come back and collect the car. Thieves these days are quitr adapt at using fishing rods through letter boxes and fishing for keys on hooks and hall tables ! |
