Had my Freelander serviced today at Stratstones FOC as per my Agreement of Sale with them.

Can anyone who has had their Land Rover serviced at any Stratstone dealership possibly enlighten me as to why they would leave a 300ml bottle of 'Save the Planet' water on the passenger seat, along with the stamped Service portfolio?

I was under the impression that they left you a small bottle of oil for topping up purposes....can I assume that because I didn't have to pay for it, I got water instead? Or is this their way of offsetting a 4x4's emissions thus easing their conscience?

Anyone? Foraging near Gaydon....

Similar thing happened to me this week. Caffyns left a Land Rover branded tin of fruit travel sweets that fit neatly in the cup holder in my car.
Not sure but I think I bought a £362 tin of sweets and they threw in a 3rd service !  _________________

Got a bottle of drinking water to on my last service, also a small bag of haribo sweets which ended up as one solid chew as they left the vehicle parked in the sun.

Has anyone else noticed that Stratstone do not clean out the boot of the vehicle, unlike the Volvo advertising that they clean everything, including the dog hairs!

a PR exercise, but did they service your car ??
