That certainly looks better than the genuine LR ones. But for the MY11, the rear wiper was changed and now it looks much better. Thumbs Up

I added one of these last week. Simple to do and looks nicer than the factory fitted one.

Sadly it has had much use already. Bloody weather, grumbles...

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Rimini Red

A word of warning. I put one of these on some time ago, although I am not sure if it was the same maker/supplier. The ring was made of very soft brass which split beyond repair after a couple of weeks. I suppose I may have over-tightened the nut. I ended up putting the original arm back on and replacing the blade with a good quality flat blade which works much better than the original set up. - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.

Bought something similar for mine but the blade wore out really quickly. Ended up fitting the standard Land Rover arm and a beam type blade as fitted to new models all supplied by our good friend Dan at Duckworths Very Happy

Or you could just get a new style LR wiper?

Information from Dan is that there is no new style wiper arm. The part number hasn't changed. The wiper blade however has changed and is now a beam blade like the front wipers. Overall the combination looks fine and looks more business like than the bit of plastic that's being sold on ebay to me.

Sorry for the thread resurrection, but I recently 'upgraded' to the OP's item above. It came with a spare blade, looked great, but it didn't wipe through the whole arc, it was the same with the spare blade too. I contacted the seller who said that despite supplying hundreds of them, he hadn't had such complaint. Offered a full refund so no probs there.

Shame though, as it looked a lot better than the standard fitment. 2010MY 2.2 e4 (gone but, not forgotten)
