There was a minor refresh for 2011 model year and a bigger refresh for 2013. HSE comes highly specked so not much change in spec as sat nav, sun roofs enhanced premium sounds have been part of the package throughout along with larger alloys. Be careful with DAB as earlier model radio's say digital but they are not DAB. |

If you can get a MY11 Facelift model HSE DAB was standard, may have been on other models, Sat Nav hasn't changed from the original till the MY13 was launched, they then changed it from Disc to HDD. Others may say different but personally the Sat Nav is not the greatest feature, a TOM Tom unit will perform better and has much cheaper updates. From the rumours going around if your Sat Nav has not got the 2012-2013 discs in there will be no more updated discs available. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

I find that the LR satnav is much better than my old TomTom. It's much easier to navigate than my old system, and it has always taken me to my destination without hesitation. |

Only because you didn't know where you were and where you were going, I was in Oxford on the A34 which runs direct to Southampton, yet it wanted to take me M40, M25, M3 or when in traffic it advises you to turn left in to a Lay By and out the other end to gain 40 yards. Or on the A41 near me, it advises me to take the by pass when heading south, heading north it advises you not to even though the by pass is a 70 mph road 4 miles long it says take the route through the village at 30mph for 4 miles. Yes it may get you there,

I don't tend to use the SatNav when I know where I'm going. |

I've never used the sat nav on my one, I still use the ancient and forgotten technique of map reading. It's the first time I've had sat nav fitted to my LR, only got as its standard on XS models. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

With regards to the discs, I picked up my 2008 hse model yesterday. The previous owner had kept all the discs. Called Stratstone this morning and they then provided me with the 2013-2014 version. Guess what, they were on disc. Amazing service by my local stratstone dealer |
