United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Baltic Blue
Series I or Series II?

Spent the weekend in Evesham, and very pleasant it was too. Whilst out in the Town earlier, I happened to park just behind this:

Looking at the registration, it looks like a 1951 registration, which would make it a Series 1 I think....can anyone who knows/remembers these old number plates enlighten me?

TIA

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green  Foraging near Gaydon....

Many thanks for confirming Tinytim, that has to be the oldest, still in general use LR that I have ever seen on the road. Foraging near Gaydon....

It's a good looking lightly modified landy. just trying to work out what the sticker on the door says, but it distorts when enlarged and looks like it says Scotland at the bottom.

I thought it looked something like that, a long way travel with / for some pallets.

DrRpb, all sort of period running modifications. not rivet counting just being a sharp eyed land rover nutter, sorry enthusiast.
Very envious of your 49 model.

England

It is a 1951 80". Bought it in 1989, had a straight six rover engine in it. That died and in went a 2.25 diesel. It now has a 200tdi from a discovery. It's my daily driver. Used all year round.
