so if i sold a clapped out banger and that went on to injure someone in a car smashing derby, would i be wholly responsible then, i knew what they was going to do with it, i still provided the vehicle same as her providing the cheese

Saying that, didn't someone break their neck/back last year at this event Idea Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

What about people that watch rallying and get mowed down when a car goes off the track? Isn't here a disclaimer along the lines that watching motor racing can be dangerous and it is at your own risk etc etc.

Surely people enter this event being fully aware of the risks? Can't she donate/sell the cheeses with a disclaimer along the lines of 'cheese chasing can result in serious injury so do it at your own risk' . Whistle Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I would say to her carry on enjoying what you have been doing for the last 25 years and write a disclaimer for any resulting injuries.

The trouble is that according to the Feds it is an unofficial event so no Third Party insurance in place as there is on a car rally, all of which in the UK are authorised by the MSA (Motorsport Association) Competition Department.
