Just realised that i had accidently left the T R C on the Grass etc setting and towed the caravan on motorway about 70 miles since doing so. Hope someone can tall me i shouldn't have damaged anything! It's a Freelander 2 GS '13

No, you shouldn't have damaged anything. Driving on tarmac in GGS (or M&R or sand) increases the stress on the drivetrain due to wind-up and can cause problems if done to excess, but the odd 70 miles shouldn't hurt.

Mind you, GGS reduces the throttle response so much I'm surprised you didn't notice. On the odd occasion I've done it I can immediately feel the lack of power, and that's without a caravan on the back!

Thanks for your prompt response. I must admit I did feel some apparent loss of power initially butstupidly didnt associate it with anything. Thanks again R. Simon
