NOT normal. Most beeps (e.g. low fuel, or low temperature) are two very short beeps. It could well be related to the parking sensor issue. |

a two second beep happens when you put the car in reverse to tell you your parking sensors are working

BTW I do get a two second beep when I put it into reverse on top of the first beep! |

If a fuse is blowing then a wire must be damaged somewhere and earthing I would think? Maybe underneath around the rear valance? |

I get something similar....have you got the old nokia phone kit installed. This was the reason on mine. |

Did you ever work this out? Late to the party but I'd say the beep is most definitely caused by the blown PDC fuse. I deliberately removed my fuse (I don't like the PDC) and I get the beep every time I start. |
