I get a student discount with Apple direct which brings it down from £399 to £387 but it's cheaper on ebay at £362 inc delivery. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Done it. Sod it if the 5 is way better, it will only be outdone by the 6 anyway so I can't spend ages waiting just to have the lastest model.

I have bought a brand new iPad 4 16GB in white (wi-fi only) for £354 from an ebay shop including delivery. I also bought one of those rotating case things with a stylus pen for £4.99 inc delivery.

Happy with that Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I couldn't resist the deal. £354 is cheaper than some refurbed ones. To be honest, an added bonus this week has been 3 cheques totaling £80 and a goodwill gesture (long story) from O2 who are crediting £100 to my account which they say I can have sent back to my bank account. On top of that, I am getting a pay rise in this months packet!

P.S, my new glasses arrived today. They are superb but then being Tag-Heuer, they ought to be: http://www.pretavoir.co.uk/tag-heuer-trends-rimless-8103-003.html

Do you know for sure if it is not a Refurb that you've bought, you really cannot tell the difference.

On another note, you wasn't in Norwich recently Question

16gb might be too small.
I bought that size for my missus and it's a pain. Even the latest software update is 3.5gb which will have to wait as she can't decide what to remove.
Yes, I can put the stuff back on after, but I'd recommend a minimum of 32gb.

Couldn't justify the cost. My iPhone 5 is 16GB and has shed loads of photo's, videos (including Skyfall), apps and running the latest iOS and still has 3GB left. It will do and if necessary I will just transfer stuff or photo's to my mac to free up some space. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

The iPad arrived today and it's great. Glad I didn't go for the cellular one because it tethers to my iPhone just fine and works from the 3G on that. Yes there will be times when my phone doesn't get a 3G signal but I can live with that. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
