I have this fault with the driver information display, sometimes you can hardly read it it's so faint.

I`ve no problem with the display normally, but have noticed on a couple of occasions, after long journeys (couple of hours +), with the lights on, that the display eventually "fades" until it is almost impossible to read. I have assumed that this is to do with getting warmer, both the car (heater on all the time) and the display, (due to the illumination bulb?- even an LED gives off some heat) or just getting warm through operating. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |

Just to add, even with my sunglasses on and the sun beaming into the cabin the black text is very clear on the driver display and audio unit. |

I've also had this issue.... after a 2/3 hours trip... I wonder if LR will replace my display... I'll ask during my next service. |

Regularly do a 6 hour non-stop drive down to England and my display doesn't fade, so I guess it can't be a heat problem.

Going off topic for a second. I see from your blurb re. your FL2 you've got a cargo net. where did you get it and how much did you pay?? Cheers Phil P.S. My dsiplay is fine, but I keep getting rattles which are driving me nuts! Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass |
